About the Author

Fiona Harris and Mike McLeish are a talented husband-and-wife writing and performing team. They have carved out impressive and unique careers in the arts, both as individuals and as a creative duo.

Fiona has written and co-written fifteen books, for both children and adults. Her extensive work in prime-time TV includes sketch comedy shows like Flipside, Skithouse and Comedy Inc., as well as marquee television dramas like The Beautiful Lie, Tangle and Offspring.

Mike has worked in mainstage musicals – including Keating! The Musical, Shane Warne the Musical, Georgy Girl: The Seekers Musical and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical – and television, in shows such as Utopia, Mustangs, Wentworth and The Time of Our Lives.

In 2019, Mike and Fiona released their internationally award-winning comedy web series The Drop Off, which to date has won a dozen international 'Best Web Series' awards. Channel 9 screened a telemovie version of the show in 2021.
